Adding content

Registered user can add materials and pieces to the Tool Box.

First he must choose from the following:

• Upload a file
• Create

Upload a file

After the file is uploaded, the user is given a choice:

• this is a piece of content
• this is learning material

The system will explain these choices, and also suggest, based on the mime type of the file, which it probably is (images are probably pieces, pdfs, documents and presentations are probably material).

After the user has selected the type of content, he is shown an edit form where he can write down information about the file. This form is different for pieces and materials.

MIME type control is described in #210

Based on New content wizard, structured text can only be Material. It's OK, when the text is large (chapter for example). But what if the text is short (one paragraph for example). Could it be better to let user decide is it piece or material? Wizard can give him suggestions based on text capacity and structure.

Hmmm.. Actually, Hans's image conflicts with the ticket description, which says that edited text becomes a piece. I don't think anyone will write an entire chapter using the online editing tool, but rather short sections of text. I think they should be pieces. If the user wants to use them as material, he can of course create material and select his text into that material (using the template wizard, which is outside the scope of this ticket).
