Description

Teachers need the ability to highlight words. Thus the option to add background color to text should be enabled in Kupu.

Kupu itself seems to have that text highlight feature, but the Plone integration seem to be modified a bit. And some features are just not there from the beginning.

I've found this article on how to do that:

http://plone.org/documentation/how-to/kupu-enabling-color-chooser/

One of the comments says that enabling it should be easier with Kupu 1.4.X versions. But 1.3.7 seems to be shipped with 2.5.X family that we are currently using.

Right. Seems like quite a bit of work. I'd suggest we wait until Kupu 1.4 is bundled into the current Plone version, and then enable colors.

It looks like Plone 3.0.1 is shipped with Kupu 1.4.2

And as for latest and greatest Plone 2.5.3 - it is using Kupu 1.3.9

I don't know if Plone 2.5.X will move to Kupu 1.4.X
