Description

We need more visible difference between draft and published materials, something like the stub-message in Wikipedia.

I suggest that the following message must be displayed on view page (between title and body text) when the material is in draft status:

This material is in draft status. Group XXX (link to group page/blog) is working on that material. You can help them to improve that material. Do you want to go on, join the group and start to edit the material? (cancel) (yes)

Teemu, if we show by default full screen view for materials (#619) how do we do with this form messing the page display? My suggestion:

  • a) Don't show this text when displaying full view, maybe smaller (draft) in document_by_line like currently is and
  • b) If content is draft then its default view is the widgety one and if content is published then view is full screen.

We do not show it in fullscreen view.

Hmm... Didn't Teemu just this week decide that the view of material must be the same each time, and no forms will be shown on the view page? I agree that the draft status should be shown more prominently, but that could be done with a largish icon / status box / watermark image or something. Well, we'll just go ahead and implement this...
