The user may start an advanced search from a search results page or by clicking on the search button on any page without any search terms. The advanced search contains some fields that learning content has and the user can enter values into all of them for a detailed search.

When doing this we should be careful not to give the users too many options in search as this probably would give them zero hits. If you look at metadata in LOM there are many fields so we should rather opt for the ones discussed in WP1 and WP2 of Calibrate. Keywords, Topic, age group, language etc.. Using all metadata in LOM would be too much..
